Southampton, UK - B&G®, the world’s leading sailing navigation and instrument specialist today announced their support for the new UK Double Handed Offshore Series. The event series, created by figarist and round the world sailor Henry Bomby, has a diverse range of competitors; from professional sailors, amateurs and Olympic hopefuls to young up and coming talent at the beginning of their racing career, it is set to be an event like no other. The format for the event will see sailors competing in a number of the best-ranked Double Handed races throughout the year, combined into one season long series.

“B&G are delighted be involved with and supporting, the Double Handed Offshore Series” said Simon Conder, Head of global brand at B&G. “This is a rapidly growing class and our wide range of sailing products are ideally suited to support this type of sailing” . B&G will be hosting an online seminar for competitors, to ensure race entrants get the most out of their electronics; the session will be focusing on instrument calibration.

B&G are also providing a fantastic prize for the event winner, the new generation of intelligent sailing display Nemesis™. This innovative new display offers unparalleled visibility, with complete customisation or easy to use multi-function templates and automatic dashboards based on your angle of sail. Not only is it the best gear, but they are so active with the Double Handed Community, offering support and running educational webinars that allows all the teams to get the best out of their instruments, it makes a real difference.” Henry will be racing on a SunFast 3300 kitted out with the latest B&G electronics.
